Use the search function at the top of this page. Enter your location or postcode and filter by „Emergency service: Yes". Please always call ahead before visiting to confirm current opening hours.
The PetChip Finder automatically checks API-enabled chip registers. You enter your pet's 15-digit chip number, and the system searches the connected databases. Please note: TASSO and Findefix can only currently be checked manually.
Report the missing animal immediately using the „Report missing / found animal" button at the top of the page. Additionally, we recommend submitting a lost report directly to TASSO and Findefix.
Take the animal to the nearest vet so the chip can be read. Also report the find via this page under „Report found animal" so that the owner can be informed quickly.
No. In the directory, you will see for each entry whether an emergency service is offered. Please always check availability by phone before visiting.
Click the „Register as a Vet" button and complete the form. The entry will include name, town, postcode, services, emergency hours, phone number, website, and a map display.
At present, API-enabled registers are searched automatically. TASSO and Findefix can currently only be checked via a manual request. Further database partners are being planned.
In case of acute symptoms, contact the emergency service by phone immediately – don't search online first. Use the emergency search on this page to find the nearest available practice.
